To become a member does not require using the BFM backbone protocols. Membership requires <strong>active contribution<\/strong> to the I-BFM study group. This can be either by participation in clinical protocols or in studies about the biology of disease. Membership is not issued on a personal basis; however, individuals representing single institutions may participate on invitation as observers.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-70b197b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"70b197b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Join the I-BFM as an observer<\/h4>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c7f208a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c7f208a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Observers<\/strong> are representatives of cooperative groups or single institutions who wish to attend the Annual Meeting of the I-BFM study group. Observers may participate in committee meetings and plenary sessions; participation in closed meetings of a committee is only possible by invitation, through the committee chairperson.<\/p><p>Participation of observers in the I-BFM Annual Meeting or at one of the interim meetings can be proposed by Committee Chairs or Board members.
